Early Years Funding As an Early Education Funding (EEF) provider, we are able to offer all 3 and 4 year olds a free nursery place of up to 15 hours per week for 34 weeks per year from September 2011. This is available from The Royal Borough Of Kingston Upon Thames Education Department. The amount received decreases pro rota depending on the number of sessions attended. Due to the way that the funding is calculated by The Royal Borough Of Kingston Upon Thames, each term is calculated individually based on the term length and sessions attended.
The basic place is free and extra charges are for services over and above the 15 hours of nursery education, including specialised activities and enhanced staff ratios.
